Because I'm sure I'll have many of comments to add to this specific forum, there is no point in spamming the board and I'll just update and add to this thread. In advance, I apologize for any misspellings. I have two birds who often inhabit my keyboard along with me, and either sit on my fingers, or attack them as I type. xD
First Impression While I'd like to assume and really hope that people would get past their first impression of appearance to play the game for it's actual purpose (the gameplay), this is sadly not the case. People take a look at a site, and if the art isn't up to par, the layout not user friendly/catchy.. they leave. Sad as it may be.
So onto my suggestion/review: The site layout is very nice, the art is phenomenal. However, the banner may be a bit too big to have to scroll down to the content every time you click to a new page. As far as the "news" section when you visit there, the colors of the news updates are a bit too clashing/dark to not only read, but comprehend data from. While I love chat boxes, unless the page is going to be stretched a bit more, the text needs to be smaller within the chat box so it doesn't look so squished. The links on the layout are read-able, which is great, but if you want the logo (the site's name's text) to stand out you may want to try using a different font for the links.
Overall, the color scheme is great and the layout runs very smooth. Those are just first impression suggestions I have to help out. You don't have to take my advice, as it's merely suggestions. I am just trying to be as helpful as possible.
Fixed! With the new layout a lot of the fore-mentioned issues I proposed will be fixed. While I'm sure new issues will arouse, at least this will work for now. 
Events Now I know a sim with a lot of interactive events is always one that'll not only keep it's users busy, and entertained, but heck it's fun! So as I come up with some I'll be sure to add them here for you guys to read and review.

I do have a little suggestion though. The logo of the site name looks an awful lot like that of another game. It's different yes, but since they don't seem to realize NOTHING under this Sun is original, I would suggest changing it to the one we have currently on the front page OR make something new. We've already been demonized as a 'copycat game' on their site, and they'll probably stalk the site to see what else they can claim are copies of their ideas. I would just hate to give them more ammo and an even more solid reason to dislike the game D':
