Terms like LOL and OMG should probably be the only ones allowed in my opinion, since most people know what it is. They're common phrases and are not annoying unless used after every sentence.

Hi, not to be disruptive, but the grammar nazi in me is going to keep nagging until I point out a small mistake: "Welcome, stranger, to Lycaon pack." You say softly, but make yourself sound firm. "You may stay until you heal, but this will not be a luxury trip. You will fend for yourself, and we will be watching you. Don't make any 'smart' moves, you will regret it." You say, padding around the stranger. In both cases, the "you" after the dialogue ends should not be capitalized. That makes it a grammatically incorrect stand-alone sentence. "You say, padding around the stranger" is not a sentence so it should not begin with a capital letter and end in a period. Here's the corrected version: "Welcome, stranger, to Lycaon pack," you say softly, but make yourself sound firm. "You may stay until you heal, but this will not be a luxury trip. You will fend for yourself, and we will be watching you. Don't make any 'smart' moves, you will regret it," you say, padding around the stranger. I would also recommend placing an "or" in this sentence: "Don't make any 'smart' moves, or you will regret it", since it's an "or-else" kind of threat. Otherwise it sounds like you're saying the stranger would regret *not* making any 'smart' moves, when in fact you want to say they would regret making 'smart' moves. Finally, "make yourself sound firm" is a little awkward. It may flow more naturally to say something along the lines of: "say softly, but firmly" or "say softly, but with firmness in your voice". You're an excellent writer and it looks like a great site Happy New Year!
